Energy Efficiency Demand Response Coordinator

Primary customer representative for MMWEC’s demand response programs. This includes being the primary responder to customer and contractor calls regarding demand response.
Acts as liaison with MLPs regarding program compliance and coordinating approvals from MLPs for program exception processing and communications.
Processes all demand response program applications for compliance or non-compliance. Reach out to all disconnected enrolled devices and assist homeowner with reconnection.
Administers new devices and home enrollments into the demand response program into the correct strategic groupings based on load zonal data of where device is located.
Works with analyst team to determine when to call peaks for different load zones under program purview.
Works with the program Distributed Energy Resources provider to run all technical capabilities of demand response programs, onboard new eligible manufacturers to the program and troubleshoot issues.
Create demand response programs and strategies to allow member utilities to use demand response to reduce peak loads.
Conduct ratepayer outreach within Member utility territories to enroll residential, commercial and industrial accounts into demand response programs and measures.
Respond to all MLP requests for reports and other information on activity of demand response programs.

Bachelor's Degree and 1-5 years experience preferred
Experience in Energy Efficiency, Demand Management, or other competitive market driven utility programs, including process management experience preferred
Technical knowledge of DERMs platform preferred
Some travel required to attend meetings and conferences
