Responsibilities
- Primary customer representative for MMWEC’s demand response programs. This includes being the primary responder to customer and contractor calls regarding demand response.
- Acts as liaison with MLPs regarding program compliance and coordinating approvals from MLPs for program exception processing and communications.
- Processes all demand response program applications for compliance or non-compliance. Reach out to all disconnected enrolled devices and assist homeowner with reconnection.
- Administers new devices and home enrollments into the demand response program into the correct strategic groupings based on load zonal data of where device is located.
- Works with analyst team to determine when to call peaks for different load zones under program purview.
- Works with the program Distributed Energy Resources provider to run all technical capabilities of demand response programs, onboard new eligible manufacturers to the program and troubleshoot issues.
- Create demand response programs and strategies to allow member utilities to use demand response to reduce peak loads.
- Conduct ratepayer outreach within Member utility territories to enroll residential, commercial and industrial accounts into demand response programs and measures.
- Respond to all MLP requests for reports and other information on activity of demand response programs.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree and 1-5 years experience preferred
- Experience in Energy Efficiency, Demand Management, or other competitive market driven utility programs, including process management experience preferred
- Technical knowledge of DERMs platform preferred
- Some travel required to attend meetings and conferences
