About the role
The Electric Warranty Coordinator supports warranty administrative functions for Warranty Managers, Service Supervisors, and Service Technicians. Responsibilities include scheduling in-home service calls, handling builder documentation and billing, and performing various assigned duties.
Responsibilities
- Monitors and maintains the inbox as needed.
- Verifies validity of warranty requests prior to creating work orders and scheduling in Bolt.
- Schedules verified work orders in Bolt / Service Titan systems.
- Sets up customers in Sage AR and in Bolt when required.
- Creates jobs in Sage Job Cost and in Bolt when required.
- Schedules and assigns warranty work, coordinating with service & RNC Supervisors when necessary.
- Answers incoming calls and responds to customer / builder needs and messages in a timely and professional manner.
- Calls customers regarding external service requests to schedule appointments.
- Requests approvals and documentation from builders.
- E-files and properly codes/names documentation from builders.
- Coordinates with internal departments as needed when work becomes billable.
- Requests Purchase Orders and documentation from builders; provides PO pricing to builders prior to scheduling service work.
- Requests WO’s for RNC warranty jobs to be completed.
- Performs other related duties as directed.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate or bachelor’s degree preferred but not required.
- Valid state Driver’s license.
- At least two years of work experience in a related field and/or customer service.
Skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word).
- Good analytical skills and ability to make sound judgments relative to inventory.
- Knowledge in the construction industry preferred.
- Ability to work independently.
Physical Requirements
- Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times.
- Extended periods of sitting at a desk using a computer.
