Energy Efficiency Demand Response Coordinator

Responsibilities

• Primary customer representative for MMWEC’s demand response programs.
• Act as liaison with MLPs regarding program compliance and coordinate approvals from MLPs for program exception processing and communications.
• Process all demand response program applications for compliance or non-compliance.
• Reach out to all disconnected enrolled devices and assist homeowners with reconnection.
• Administer new devices and home enrollments into the demand response program into the correct strategic groupings based on load zonal data of where the device is located.
• Work with analyst team to determine when to call peaks for different load zones under program purview.
• Work with the program Distributed Energy Resources provider to run all technical capabilities of demand response programs, onboard new eligible manufacturers to the program, and troubleshoot issues.
• Create demand response programs and strategies to allow member utilities to use demand response to reduce peak loads.
• Conduct ratepayer outreach within Member utility territories to enroll residential, commercial, and industrial accounts into demand response programs and measures.
• Respond to all MLP requests for reports and other information on activity of demand response programs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree and 1 - 5 years' relevant experience.
• Experience in Energy Efficiency, Demand Management, or other competitive market-driven utility programs, including process management experience.
• Technical knowledge of DERMs platform preferred.
• Some travel required to attend meetings and conferences.
