Responsibilities

  • Motivate and coach plant/facility management and teams
  • Guide the development of overall continuous improvement plans
  • Facilitate training workshops and onsite energy audits and other one-on-one events
  • Analyze performance of industrial processes using monitoring equipment and statistical analysis
  • Write reports for technical and non-technical audiences
  • Conduct site walk-throughs to identify energy savings opportunities
  • Develop site improvement plans
  • Create and customize slide masters for consistent branding and layout across all slides in MS PowerPoint
  • Use MS Word to create high-quality documentation following proper styles, cross-referencing, and professional layout standards
  • Demonstrate familiarity with formulas and graphical data representation/interpretation in Excel

Requirements

To be considered for this role, you should have:

  • A bachelor's degree in engineering, environmental science, business administration, or a related field
  • Experience in energy efficiency consulting, preferably in the commercial, industrial, or institutional sectors
  • Knowledge of continuous improvement, change management, or Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma principles
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite, particularly MS PowerPoint and Excel

Qualifications

Preferred qualifications include:

  • Experience working with energy management software
  • Knowledge of building automation systems
  • Experience with sustainability certifications such as LEED or ENERGY STAR

  • Strong presentation and facilitation skills
  • Ability to analyze and interpret data
  • Attention to detail and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Strong organizational and time management skills

$85,000 - $95,000 annually
