Purpose and Summary Statement

Provides administrative support for Energy Department staff and salespeople. Duties include web-based support and general clerical work. Projects a professional company image through in-person and phone interaction.

Essential Job Functions

  • Answer telephones, provide appropriate customer service or direct to appropriate salesperson/staff member.
  • Responsible for contract preparation and administration.
  • Prepare and maintain accurate lease records.
  • Maintain thorough knowledge of appropriate software.
  • Support staff in assigned project-based work both in a team-oriented environment and independently.
  • Utilizes organization, time-management and problem-solving skills to perform work efficiently and effectively.

Other Job Functions

  • Cross-trains and serves as backup for other administrative positions as assigned.
  • Performs all other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent, and 1 year or more of administrative work experience to demonstrate knowledge of professional communication skills, typing proficiency, and Microsoft Office programs.
  • Demonstrates essential abilities including business knowledge, collaboration, communication, customer focus, decision making, and skill development.
  • Maintains a valid driver’s license and satisfactory driving record.
  • Ability to work extended hours when necessary.
  • Ability to travel independently and overnight.
  • Ability and willingness to participate in required training.

Qualifications
