Responsibilities

• The Technician is responsible for the following imaging, configuring, deployment, modifying and trouble shooting computer hardware/software including peripherals at the desktop level.
• The tech takes a pro‑active approach in monitoring and performing preliminary diagnostics on computer systems, peripheral equipment and applications.
• They provide ongoing technical assistance to users on system setups or modifications.
• They are responsible for the accurate, timely and detailed recording of issues into the IS trouble ticket system.
• They may be scheduled for first or second line of support within Information Services
