Responsibilities

• Assembles, organizes, and maintains a sterile field for operative procedures
• Anticipates the needs of the surgeon and prepares accordingly
• Disposes of specimens and instruments appropriately
• Collaborates with the surgical team to minimize anesthesia time and promote patient safety
• Works in the Endoscopy unit as part of the surgical services team
• Assists the team during procedures, ensuring a sterile environment
• Hands instruments to surgeons during procedures
• Maintains patient safety throughout the day

Requirements

• Less than 1 year Surgical Technologist Experience Required
• Less than 1 year Endoscopy Technologist Experience Required
• Basic Life Support (BLS) Required
• High School Diploma Required
