Endoscopy Technician II - GI

Role Overview: The Endoscopy Technician II supports patient care and procedural needs in an endoscopy setting under supervision. Key Responsibilities: Assist with patient assessments, handle and process endoscopy equipment, and maintain procedural rooms. Support diagnostic, interventional, and therapeutic procedures such as ERCP, EUS/EBUS, GI bleed treatments, and foreign body removal. Ensure high-quality cleaning practices, participate in quality assurance audits, and support ancillary practices like small bowel capsule and motility tests. Take overnight and weekend on-call shifts independently. Qualifications & Skills: High school diploma or GED; at least 1 year of GI or equivalent healthcare experience. Knowledge of medical terminology, electronic applications (Microsoft Word, Outlook, Teams), and ability to work independently or in teams. Strong communication, flexibility, initiative, and adaptability are essential. BLS certification required and maintained. Additional Details: Nonexempt role with hourly pay ($22.12 - $31.21), full-time schedule with four 9-hour shifts per week, and on-call responsibilities.
