About the role

This position is a year-round, full-time opportunity located in Sioux Falls, SD. It is a primarily day shift position with occasional nights, weekends, and holidays on-call.

Responsibilities

• Prepares the room for procedures in a timely manner, organizing equipment and tools as needed.
• Maintains efficiency in handling equipment as requested by the physician.
• Verifies specimens with the physician and registered nurse.
• Maintains a working knowledge of equipment and tools.
• Achieves and maintains clinical skills as required.
• Assists in positioning patients or equipment for procedures and connecting them to monitors.
• Requisitions supplies and equipment, maintains and repairs related items, and prepares related forms.
• Cleans and maintains gastrointestinal equipment.
• Keeps stock and equipment inventories updated.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.

Skills

Knowledge of medical terminology, basic computer skills, and the ability to follow instructions are beneficial.

Pay

The pay range for this position is $18.75 - $26.00 per hour, with actual pay dependent on experience.
