Endoscopy Technician
Job Summary
As an Endoscopy Technician at Wesley Medical Center, you'll play a crucial role in ensuring patient safety and comfort during GI and endoscopy procedures. Your responsibilities include preparing procedure rooms and equipment, assisting with patient positioning and transportation, supporting physicians and nurses during procedures, and maintaining a clean and organized environment.
Qualifications
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) verification course through American Heart Association and American Red Cross - Healthcare Provider CPR
- Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively
- Knowledge of accepted operating room standards and practices
- Knowledge of instrument names, types, and uses
- Knowledge of electric video operative field equipment
