Endoscopy Technician

About the role

The Endoscopy Technician position at Florida Gold Coast Surgery Center, LLC involves assisting surgeons with endoscopic procedures in a comfortable outpatient setting. This role requires collaboration with a registered nurse and the physician to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Assist with the operation of technical equipment used during endoscopic procedures.
• Work as part of a team to create the best conditions for successful patient outcomes.
• Clean, disinfect, and maintain endoscopes and other instrumentation.
• Facilitate patient flow and room turnover.
• Stock procedure rooms and order supplies.
• Perform a variety of clerical duties.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum of 1 year of experience in a GI Lab.
• Previous experience in an ambulatory surgical center or surgical hospital preferred.
• Current BLS certification, ACLS preferred.
