Endoscopy Tech Full Time
About the Role
Gateway Endoscopy Center is seeking a Full Time Endoscopy Tech to join our Outpatient GI Center. You will work alongside highly-trained physicians specializing in diagnosing and treating gastrointestinal conditions such as acid reflux, irritable bowel syndrome (IBS), inflammatory bowel disease (IBD), and liver disease. In this role, you will play a crucial part in delivering top-notch patient care by providing clear and understandable consultations and services.
We pride ourselves on a friendly and supportive work environment where continuity and trust are nurtured through stable, long-lasting patient relationships. While we collaborate as a team, each patient is assigned a dedicated gastroenterologist to ensure personalized care.
Qualifications
- High school graduate or equivalent
- Certification in Endoscope reprocessing (a plus)
- One to three years of previous experience in a GI Lab (a plus)
- Strong customer service skills
- Manual dexterity to handle instruments quickly
- Conscientious, organized, and able to handle the stress of a busy GI lab environment
- Ability to function as a team player
- Ability to lift 25 pounds
- Proficiency in written and verbal English communication
