Endoscopy Nurse

About the Role

Provide leadership in delivering professional nursing care, evaluate patients pre-surgery, educate patients and families, prepare patients with therapies and medications, participate in surgical protocols, respond to emergencies, monitor and document patient conditions, and collaborate with an interdisciplinary team. Apply evidence-based practices and ensure patient safety throughout.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and prepare patients for procedures
• Facilitate surgical protocols and endoscopy procedures
• Recognize and respond to emergencies
• Deliver high-quality, patient-centered care
• Document patient conditions thoroughly
• Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team

Requirements

• Minimum of one year RN experience
• Preferred experience in Endoscopy or Critical Care
• Associate Degree in Nursing (required)
• Current RN licensure (required)
• BLS and ACLS certifications (required)
• Master’s degree (preferred)
• National certification (preferred)
