Endoscopy Nurse – Ambulatory Surgery Center

Role: Endoscopy Nurse PRN Responsibilities: Provide safe, patient-centered care for outpatient GI proceduresPerform pre- and post-procedure assessmentsStart IVs and administer medicationsMonitor patients under sedation to ensure comfort and safetySupport physicians during endoscopic proceduresUphold infection control standardsAccurately document in the EHR Qualifications & Skills: Valid nursing licenseExperience in endoscopy or outpatient surgical settings preferredStrong patient assessment and monitoring skillsAbility to work collaboratively in a team environmentKnowledge of infection control protocols and EHR documentation Key Duties: Supporting physicians during procedures, ensuring patient safety and comfort, maintaining high standards of infection control, and documenting care accurately in a modern, ambulatory surgery setting.
