About the role
The role involves maintaining and managing complex endoscopic equipment and related components, ensuring their readiness for surgical procedures.
Responsibilities
- Cleaning, decontamination, inspection, assembly, and sterilization of equipment
- Performing routine maintenance and troubleshooting of endoscopic and audiovisual systems
- Coordinating equipment availability
- Managing inventory and supplies
- Processing billing and vendor inquiries
- Supporting equipment evaluation and implementation
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Certification as a Registered Central Service Technician (CRCST) or Sterile Processing Technician (CSPDT)
- Requirement to obtain Certified Endoscope Reprocessor (CER) certification within one year
