About the role
Maintains and manages complex endoscopic equipment and related components, ensuring readiness for surgical procedures.
Responsibilities
- Ensures availability and proper sterilization of endoscopic equipment for surgeries.
- Performs inspections, routine maintenance, troubleshooting, and acts as a resource for equipment use.
- Coordinates equipment readiness, manages inventory, and restocks supplies based on par levels.
- Maintains detailed records of inventory, repairs, and expenses; supports budget reconciliation.
- Processes billing, invoices, and addresses vendor inquiries.
- Contributes to evaluating and implementing new equipment and supplies.
Qualifications
- High School diploma or GED.
- Certified Registered Central Service Technician (CRCST) or Certified Sterile Processing and Distribution Technician (CSPDT); must obtain Certified Endoscope Reprocessor (CER) within one year.
