Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED equivalent.
• Certification in Sterile Processing or Flexible Endoscopy Reprocessing through a nationally accredited central service organization such as, CBSPD oe IAHCSMM within two years of hire.
• Achieve the mandatory number of Continuing Education units (CEUs) annually.
• Basic computer skills in Microsoft Windows-based WORD, EXCEL and OUTLOOK software programs.
• Able to read and communicate effectively using the English language.
• Reliable transportation and travel required for essential duties.

Position Summary

Prepares procedure rooms, manages equipment, and assists the Physician during endoscopic procedures. Assists with patient care pre and post procedure as well as assists in the maintenance of a safe and clean environment. Provides 24-hour coverage, including clinical cross-campus (MMH and RGH) on-call from Monday through Friday after 11:00 p.m., weekends, and holidays.
