About the role
The Independent Consultant will facilitate accredited educational seminar programs in North America on pharmaceutical compounding for conditions related to the endocrine system. The role involves presenting seminar programs, reviewing and providing feedback on seminar content, and co-developing educational materials.
Responsibilities
- Facilitate didactic content and practical applications via 1- or 2-day accredited seminar events held virtually or in person.
- Aid in the development of seminar content, including evidence-based material, case studies, and learning assessments.
- Develop accompanying seminar material such as handouts and practice aids.
- Provide feedback on LP3 Network-generated seminar material.
- Contribute to the development of LP3 Network educational offerings beyond seminar events, such as smaller webinar initiatives, online educational portals, and LP3 Network business events.
- Participate in regular feedback sessions and attend networking and informational sessions.
Requirements
- Doctor of Medicine, Bachelor of Pharmacy, or Doctor of Pharmacy degree, with at least five (5) years' practice experience in treating conditions of the endocrine system.
- Knowledge and experience with pharmaceutical compounding.
- Previous experience facilitating/developing pharmacy practice courses is preferred.
- Excellent interpersonal and engagement skills.
- Understanding of current United States or Canadian practice standards and FDA or Health Canada regulatory standards.
- Professional alliance with a pharmacy board or medical board.
- Proficiency and comfortability in online technology and facilitating virtually.
- Ability to travel for in-person events within major markets.
Qualifications
- Advanced degrees in sciences will be considered.
- Experience with online technology and facilitating virtually.
- Ability to work with different time zones within North America.
Skills
- Expertise in pharmaceutical compounding.
- Strong presentation and facilitation skills.
- Ability to develop and review educational materials.
- Understanding of regulatory standards.
Benefits
Compensation varies based on license type and experience, ranging from $100 to $200 per hour.
