About the role

The End User Support Technician will be primarily responsible for installing, maintaining, and upgrading PC hardware and software, as well as upgrading and maintaining any supporting software. This role also involves supporting servers, networking, and phone equipment at the facility and providing service desk support. Daily interaction with end users and excellent communication skills are required.

Responsibilities

  • Provide support for office and manufacturing hardware.
  • Install, maintain, and upgrade PC hardware, printers, peripherals, and software.
  • Provide customer service support via phone and remote access.
  • Must be able to take direction from management and accomplish tasks with minimal supervision.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree and/or related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience in IT. Advanced degree preferred.
  • Skills: Proficient in PC installation, upgrades, and repair; proficient in Windows and Microsoft Office; excellent troubleshooting and communication skills; good understanding of server and networking technology.
