About the role

We are seeking a customer-focused End User Computing Specialist II to provide technical support and solutions across multiple healthcare facilities throughout the Wood River and Magic Valley regions. This role is responsible for supporting end-user computing devices, telecommunications systems, networking components, and IT infrastructure to ensure uninterrupted productivity for clinical and administrative staff.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as a Tier II technical support resource for end users experiencing hardware, software, telecom, networking, and infrastructure-related issues.
  • Diagnose, research, isolate, and resolve moderately complex technical problems in a timely manner.
  • Provide both remote and onsite technical support to healthcare staff and end users.
  • Troubleshoot desktop, laptop, mobile device, printing, audio-visual, and connectivity issues.
  • Perform system restoration activities and maintenance to minimize downtime and ensure user productivity.
  • Support and maintain IT hardware, peripherals, communications equipment, and infrastructure components.
  • Install, configure, upgrade, and replace endpoint devices and related technology equipment.
  • Aid with workstation deployments, device imaging, hardware refresh initiatives, and technology rollouts.
  • Respond to issues involving network-connected devices, printers, audiovisual equipment, and telecom systems.
  • Utilize ticketing systems to accurately document incidents, requests, troubleshooting efforts, and resolutions.
  • Follow established support processes, procedures, and service level expectations.
  • Escalate complex issues to Engineering, Systems Administration, Network, Infrastructure, or Application Support teams when appropriate.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional IT teams to ensure timely resolution of issues.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in desktop support, end-user support, help desk, field services, or technical support environments.
  • Experience supporting: Windows operating systems, desktop and laptop hardware, mobile devices, printers and print services, basic networking and connectivity troubleshooting, telecom or unified communications systems.
  • Experience working within a ticketing or incident management system.
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to independently prioritize workload and manage multiple support requests.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong customer service orientation with a commitment to providing a positive end-user experience.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience supporting healthcare, hospital, or clinical environments.
  • Familiarity with healthcare technologies and workflows.
  • Experience supporting audio-visual systems, conference room technologies, or digital communications platforms.
  • Knowledge of network troubleshooting and infrastructure support.
  • Industry certifications such as: CompTIA A+, Network+, Microsoft Certifications, HDI Support Center Certifications.
