Encapsulation Machine Operator

Key Responsibilities

• Set up and operate encapsulation machines according to production schedules and work orders.
• Maintain machine performance to ensure efficient operation and minimal downtime.
• Adjust machine settings to maintain product quality and production targets.
• Perform in-process inspections including capsule weight, appearance, and consistency checks.
• Perform routine cleaning and preventive maintenance on encapsulation equipment.
• Troubleshoot minor mechanical issues and escalate major repairs when necessary.
• Cleanse and organize the encapsulation area to maintain cleanliness and organization.
• Identify and report product defects, deviations, or equipment concerns immediately.
• Work closely with Quality Assurance, Maintenance, and Production teams.
• Communicate effectively during shift changes to ensure production continuity.

Qualifications

• A high school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Previous experience operating encapsulation or manufacturing equipment is preferred.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills are essential.
• A strong attention to detail and commitment to quality are required.
• Basic math and measurement skills are necessary.
• The ability to read and interpret SOPs, work orders, and production instructions is important.
• The ability to work in a fast-paced production environment is necessary.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills are required.
