EMT, Paramedic, or LPN (Clinic Manager)
Medcor is looking to hire a part-time Clinic Manager in our employer-based, occupational health clinic in Pendleton, IN. This role is open to EMTs, Paramedics, or LPNs.
Schedule
Day shift, 24 hours per week (three 8-hour days).
Pay
$32.00–$34.00/hour based on licensure and experience.
About the role
This position offers the opportunity to use your clinical skills outside traditional EMS or nursing settings. Responsibilities include collaborative work with Medcor’s medical and operational leadership, local medical providers, client staff, and key corporate contacts. The role focuses on patient care, workers’ compensation case management, Return to Work (RTW) program facilitation, and treatment plan monitoring.
Responsibilities
- Participate in daily operations at Medcor’s on-site clinic
- Provide superior customer service to Medcor’s client and employees
- Assess and treat workplace injuries and illnesses using Medcor’s Evidence Based Medicine protocols (Medcor Care Protocols, or MCPs)
- Build and maintain internal team relationships
- Support onsite employee health and wellness efforts
- Conduct pre-employment and post-offer screenings
- Document care using state-of-the-art EMR and other tools
- Perform Physical Assessment Testing (PATs)
- Manage cases, including medical charting and OSHA record-keeping
- Work closely with outside medical providers
Requirements
- Valid licensure as an EMT, Paramedic, or LPN
- Current CPR/BLS certification
- Strong computer and technology skills (e.g., cell phones, texting, fax machines, EMR software)
- Ability to lift a 50lb emergency response bag
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Positive, outgoing personality
- Passion for patient care and advocacy
- Willingness to go above and beyond
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working in a worksite clinic environment
- Relevant occupational health experience
- Background in emergency medicine or critical care
