Medcor is looking to hire a full-time Clinic Manager (EMT, Paramedic, or LPN) for our employer-based, occupational health clinic in Buckeye, AZ.

Schedule

Monday - Friday, 8:30 AM - 5:00 PM

Pay

$31 - $33/hour

About the role

In this position, you will provide oversight and support of clinic workflows, logistics, and scheduling, as well as manage clinic operations. You will work collaboratively with key client stakeholders, including health, safety, environmental, HR, and benefits professionals, along with Medcor’s medical and operational leadership. This hands-on manager role includes patient care, workers’ compensation case management, Return to Work (RTW) program support, treatment plan monitoring, and OSHA record-keeping. You will also collaborate with outside medical providers.

Responsibilities

  • Administer and manage health service functions and daily clinic operations
  • Provide superior customer service to Medcor’s clients and employees
  • Assess and treat workplace injuries and illnesses according to Medcor’s Evidence Based Medicine protocols (Medcor Care Protocols - MCPs)
  • Build and maintain internal team relationships
  • Support onsite employee health and wellness efforts
  • Collaborate with client professionals in health, safety, and environmental practices
  • Work with client human resources and benefits professionals on clinic issues
  • Document and manage information using electronic medical records software and other tools
  • Conduct pre-employment and post-offer screenings
  • Perform Physical Assessment Testing (PATs)
  • Manage case files and OSHA record-keeping
  • Handle general administrative duties

Requirements

  • Ability to operationally lead and support a clinic team
  • Valid licensure for the position (EMT, Paramedic, or LPN) and current CPR/BLS certification
  • Strong computer and technology skills (navigate cell phones, texting, fax machines, etc.) and familiarity with EMR software
  • Physical ability to lift a 50lb emergency response bag
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Positive and outgoing personality
  • Willingness to go above and beyond in patient care
  • Passion for people and delivering high-quality care
  • Ability to have fun in a professional environment

Preferred Qualifications

  • Comfortable working in a worksite clinic environment
  • Relevant occupational health experience
  • Experience in emergency medicine or critical care
