EMT Intermediate
Responsibilities
- Provide an assessment of patients, determine necessary care, and deliver emergency services.
- Document patient information, condition and treatment while maintaining confidentiality and patient rights.
- Operate an ambulance in accordance with company safety policies and traffic laws.
- Work collaboratively and professionally with allied health and public safety personnel.
- Participate in community programs to maintain the company image and establish strong community relations.
Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED).
- State EMT Intermediate certification.
- CPR/BLS certifications.
- Pass a physical agility test.
Qualifications
Must have a valid state driver’s license and driving record in compliance with company policy.
