EMT - Full Time (Clinic)

About the role

Medcor is looking to hire a full-time EMT to be an Onsite Health Technician at our construction site clinic in Glencoe, Minnesota. Responsibilities

• Collaborate with medical and operational leadership at Medcor, local medical providers, client staff, and key contacts within the client’s corporate structure.
• Provide patient care, ongoing workers’ compensation case management, Return to Work (RTW) program facilitation, and treatment plan monitoring.
• Work closely with outside medical providers.
• Participate in daily operations at Medcor’s on‑site clinic.
• Provide superior customer service to Medcor’s client and employees.
• Assess and treat workplace injuries and illnesses according to Medcor’s Evidence Based Medicine protocols (Medcor Care Protocols, MCPs).
• Build and maintain internal team relationships.
• Support onsite employee health and wellness efforts.
• Conduct pre‑employment and post‑offer screenings.
• Document care using state‑of‑the‑art EMR and other tools.
• Perform Physical Assessment Testing (PATs).
• Manage cases and maintain medical charting.
• Maintain OSHA record‑keeping.

Requirements

• Valid licensure for the EMT position.
• Current CPR/BLS certification.
• Ability to lift a 50 lb emergency response bag.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Positive and outgoing personality.

• Comfortable working in a construction environment, able to climb stairs and work at heights as needed.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with computers and familiarity with EMR software.
• Background in emergency medicine or critical care.

Pay

$29–$31.50 per hour for day shift; $30–$32.50 per hour for night shift.

Schedule

Shifts are 6 am–6 pm Monday‑Thursday or Friday‑Sunday, or 6 pm–6 am Monday‑Thursday or Friday‑Sunday. Hours are subject to change based on client needs.
