About the role
The Parker Jewish Institute, located in New Hyde Park, NY, is seeking EMTs to join their new program, the Alternated 911 program, to serve as call center technicians, providing critical support to the patients and clients they serve by fielding non-emergency clinical calls.
Responsibilities
- Provide friendly, welcoming, and clinically sound communications with patients and clients who call the center.
- Triage and document both inbound and outbound calls.
Requirements
- Certified as an EMT in New York.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal; able to communicate clearly and concisely in English.
- Bilingual in another language a plus.
