EMT Basic/Specialist

Overview

The EMT Basic Specialist works under the direction of the Registered Nurse, Manager Patient Care and or Supervisor, Nursing. Promotes and exemplifies the mission and values of the Sisters of the Third Order of St. Francis and supports the goals of OSF Healthcare System; performs clerical and clinical duties essential to the facilitation of delivery and quality of patient care.

Qualifications

• Required Education: High School Diploma/GED
• Required Licensure/Certification: Current certification by the American Heart Association Healthcare Provider BLS. Must complete any training and other requirements specific to the position within 3 months of entering the position.
• Preferred Qualifications: 1 year previous experience as EMT Basic or Specialist or Medical First Responder.

Pay and Benefits

• Pay: $19.45/hour
