EMT Basic - Located in Greeley, CO

Responsibilities

• Provide an assessment of patients, determine necessary care and deliver emergency services.
• Maintain confidentiality and patient rights while documenting patient information, condition, and treatment.
• Operate an ambulance safely and efficiently, following company policies and traffic laws.
• Communicate effectively with patients, colleagues, and other allied health professionals.
• Perform cleaning procedures and use appropriate medical equipment and tools.
• Work collaboratively with other EMTs and public safety personnel.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
• Colorado EMT certification.
• Current CPR/BLS certifications (AHA or Red Cross).
• Valid driver’s license in good standing.
• Compliant driving record.
• Successful completion of the Physical Ability Test (PAT).

Qualifications

• Previous healthcare related work experience is preferred but not required.
• EMT IV Endorsement Certification is preferred but not required.
• NREMT certification is preferred but not required.

Skills

• Effective communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Knowledge of medical equipment and procedures.
• Confidentiality and patient rights awareness.

Pay

Starting at $17.86 / hour with credit given for experience.

Schedule

Full-time 12-hour shifts, often nights, weekends, and holidays.
