EMT Basic - Located in Cheyenne, WY

Responsibilities

• Provide an assessment of patients, determine necessary care and deliver emergency services.
• Maintain confidentiality and patient rights while documenting patient information, condition, and treatment.
• Operate an ambulance safely and efficiently, adhering to company safety policies and traffic laws.
• Communicate effectively with patients, colleagues, and other healthcare professionals.
• Use appropriate medical equipment and follow cleaning procedures.
• Work collaboratively with other EMTs and allied health professionals.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
• Wyoming EMT certification.
• National Registry of Emergency Medical Technicians (NREMT) certification.
• CPR/BLS certifications (AHA or Red Cross).
• Valid driver’s license in good standing.
• Compliant driving record.
• Successful completion of the Physical Ability Test (PAT).
