EMT Basic - Located in Buffalo, NY

Responsibilities

• Provide an assessment of patients, determine necessary care, and deliver emergency services.
• Document patient information, condition, and treatment while maintaining confidentiality and patient rights.
• Operate an ambulance in accordance with company safety policies and traffic laws.
• Collaborate with allied health and public safety personnel, and fellow EMTs in a professional manner.

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• High School Diploma or equivalent (GED).
• State Driver’s License.
• State EMT certification.
• CPR/BLS certification.
• Driving record in compliance with company policy.
• Pass Physical Ability Test (PAT).
• Some work experience in healthcare is preferred.

Full-time hires start at $22.04 per hour and up, based on years of experience. AMR Buffalo offers paid tuition, books, and uniforms for Paramedic classes while also paying hourly wages during training.
