EMT

Responsibilities

• Assesses and manages medical, trauma, and environmental emergencies under the supervision of the staff nurse and/or physician.
• Affords patient care based on individual patient needs within the scope of practice under the direct supervision of the ER Registered Nurse.

Qualifications

• Basic EMT-P Registry
• E.R. experience preferred
• Current BCLS (AHA) certificate upon hire and maintain current.
• CPI within 6 months of hire and maintain current annually.
• ACLS certification upon hire and maintain current.
• PALS certification upon hire and maintain current.
