About the role

CCBC seeks adjunct faculty to teach Emergency Medical Technology courses at various campuses and centers. The position offers flexible schedules and competitive compensation.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and deliver instruction as part of the curriculum
• Cooperate with College support staff by timely submission of materials
• Coordinate activities with the Program Director or coordinator
• Attend department meetings and participate in professional development
• Be available to students outside of class

Requirements

• Associate's Degree in Emergency Medical Technology or related field
• Certified as a Maryland Emergency Medical Technician, Cardiac Rescue Technician-Intermediate, or Paramedic
• Minimum of five (5) years of experience in emergency medical services
• Current ACLS instructor certification
• MICRB certification as an Emergency Services instructor

Preferred Credentials

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in emergency health services or related field
• Basic Cardiac Life Support instructor certification
• Basic Trauma Life Support instructor certification
• International Trauma Life Support Instructor certification
• Pediatric or Advanced Life Support instructor certification
