Emergency Medical Technology Adjunct Faculty

About the role
CCBC seeks adjunct faculty to teach Emergency Medical Technology courses at various campuses and centers. The position offers flexible schedules and competitive compensation.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and deliver instruction as part of the curriculum
- Cooperate with College support staff by timely submission of materials
- Coordinate activities with the Program Director or coordinator
- Attend department meetings and participate in professional development
- Be available to students outside of class
Requirements
- Associate's Degree in Emergency Medical Technology or related field
- Certified as a Maryland Emergency Medical Technician, Cardiac Rescue Technician-Intermediate, or Paramedic
- Minimum of five (5) years of experience in emergency medical services
- Current ACLS instructor certification
- MICRB certification as an Emergency Services instructor
Preferred Credentials
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in emergency health services or related field
- Basic Cardiac Life Support instructor certification
- Basic Trauma Life Support instructor certification
- International Trauma Life Support Instructor certification
- Pediatric or Advanced Life Support instructor certification
