EMT - Abbott EMS
Responsibilities
- Provide an assessment of patients, determine necessary care and deliver emergency services.
- Document patient information, condition and treatment while maintaining confidentiality and patient rights.
- Operate an ambulance in accordance with company safety policies and traffic laws.
- Communicate effectively with patients, other healthcare professionals, and public safety personnel.
- Participate in community programs to maintain AMR image and establish strong community relations.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED).
- State EMT License.
- State Driver’s License.
- BLS certification.
- National Registry of Emergency Medical Technicians (NREMT) certification.
- Passing physical agility test.
- Compliant driving record.

- Some work experience, preferably in healthcare.

Abbott EMS is immediately hiring Emergency Medical Technicians (EMTs) who will respond to emergency and non-emergency requests for medical assistance and deliver high-quality care, treatment, and customer service to patients. We are looking for individuals who can take pride in providing a safe, clean, and well-stocked environment for patients and who can operate an ambulance in accordance with company safety policies and traffic laws.
