About the role

Wake County EMS is expanding its Logistics Team to support the community's growing needs. In this role, you'll work with the Assistant Chief of Logistics and other Logistics Technicians to ensure front-line units are always ready for emergencies.

Responsibilities

• Verify and assemble medical supplies in prepacked bins
• Stock medical supplies in bags, ensuring operational teams have the necessary tools
• Prepare and seal medical supply bins, bags, and equipment
• Audit for accuracy and apply use of technology to ensure accurate bin and station inventory
• Respond to tickets for as needed items
• Deliver supplies and equipment to locations around the county

Requirements

• High School Diploma
• No specific experience required
• A valid driver's license with a "safe" driving record
• Class B Non-CDL driver’s license and experience operating large vehicles and trailers

Qualifications

• Equivalent education and experience are accepted

Skills

• Experience with electronic inventory management software
• Experience with Operative IQ - Back Office and Frontline
• Experience with equipment and supplies used in Emergency Medical Services
• Experience working within a public safety department or government agency
