Qualifications
No minimum education required.
- Preferred: Active EMT-P or RN with current field and teaching experience
- Preferred: At least two years of field experience in Emergency Services
- Required: Basic Life Support/CPR Certification
- Required: Current Illinois Paramedic licensure within the State of Illinois
Requirements
Within the first year of employment, must attain the following instructor certifications:
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) Instructor
- Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) Instructor
- Pre-Hospital Trauma Life Support (PHTLS) Instructor
- Basic Life Support (BLS) Instructor
