EMR, Training Specialist I | IT- Informatics and Education

Responsibilities

• Develops and delivers training programs to enhance user proficiency with EMR systems
• Aids healthcare staff in navigating EMR applications and collaborates with IT and clinical teams to tailor instructional materials
• Serves as a point of contact for system updates and monitors training effectiveness
• Maintains documentation and facilitates hands-on training sessions
• Addresses user inquiries and troubleshoots issues to ensure efficient EMR usage and data accuracy

Qualifications

• Minimum Requirements: Associate’s Degree from an accredited college or university plus three (3) years of relevant work experience
• Knowledge of electronic medical record (EMR) systems and clinical workflows
• Strong communication and instructional skills
• Ability to collaborate effectively with IT and clinical teams
• Experience troubleshooting user issues and providing support
• Epic Credentialed Trainer status in the supported application must be obtained within six (6) months of hire or transfer into the position.
