Empower QA Analyst

Responsibilities

• Ensure the quality, accuracy, and compliance of mortgage origination platforms including Empower LOS and a proprietary Loan Officer Digital system.
• Work closely with business and delivery teams to validate workflows and support high-quality releases.
• Review requirements and build detailed manual test cases and scripts.
• Execute functional and end-to-end testing across Empower LOS and Loan Officer Digital platform.
• Validate mortgage workflows and business scenarios.
• Identify, document, and track defects and anomalies.
• Validate regulatory workflows including TRID compliance.
• Proactively identify functional and regulatory gaps.
• Collaborate with business, QA, and release teams during testing cycles.

Requirements

• 2–8 years of experience in QA or manual testing within financial services or mortgage domain.
• Strong experience in test case creation and execution.
• Understanding of mortgage lending workflows.
• Basic knowledge of regulatory practices such as TRID.
• Strong analytical and documentation skills.

Qualifications

• Working knowledge of Empower Loan Origination System.
• Experience with end-to-end mortgage platform testing.
• Familiarity with Agile testing environments.
• Strong attention to detail and stakeholder communication skills.

Pay

Compensation (Pay Transparency)
Base salary range $86,500 – $101,500 annually, depending on experience, skills, and location.
Eligible for Cognizant’s discretionary annual incentive program subject to applicable plan terms.
