As a QA Analyst at Prompt, you will be instrumental in ensuring the quality, consistency, and reliability of our software solutions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manual Testing: Perform functional, regression, smoke, and acceptance testing on new and existing features.
  • Bug Reporting: Identify, document, and communicate defects to the development team, ensuring timely resolution.
  • AI Testing: Test AI-enabled product features for accuracy, reliability, usability, edge cases, and unintended behaviors.
  • Leveraging AI and Agentic Tools: Use AI-assisted workflows to improve test planning, test case generation, exploratory testing, documentation, and overall QA efficiency.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams including product, development, and design to review project requirements, provide input during the testing phase, and ensure alignment on quality expectations.
  • Documentation: Maintain accurate records of test plans, test cases, and results. Ensure clear and consistent documentation for stakeholders.
  • Prioritization and Risk Communication: Plan and manage daily QA work across multiple priorities, focus testing efforts on the highest-risk and highest-impact areas, and proactively communicate status, blockers, risks, and tradeoffs to stakeholders.
  • Continuous Improvement: Contribute insights to enhance testing processes, documentation standards, and workflows. Advocate for quality in every stage of the software development lifecycle.
  • Ownership and Execution: Take initiative, follow through on commitments, meet expected business results, and consistently look for ways to raise the standard of quality across the product and team.
  • Dependability and Follow-Through: Takes personal responsibility for the quality and timeliness of work, manages day-to-day priorities effectively, and consistently delivers expected results with limited oversight.
  • Prioritization and Organization: Able to manage multiple testing priorities, sequence work based on risk and business impact, adapt quickly when priorities shift, and clearly communicate tradeoffs or risks.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Experience: 1 - 3 years of experience in a QA Analyst or similar role, preferably working with healthcare-related software, particularly in rehab therapy or similar domains.
  • Manual Testing: Solid experience with manual testing techniques such as functional, regression, smoke, and acceptance testing.
  • AI Testing and Tooling: Experience testing AI-enabled features or a strong demonstrated interest in learning how to evaluate AI outputs, identify edge cases, and use AI or agentic tools to improve QA workflows.
  • Test Documentation: Strong documentation skills for writing test cases, test plans, and bug reports.
  • Attention to Detail: Exceptional ability to identify issues and inconsistencies in software and provide actionable feedback.
  • Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to collaborate across teams.
  • Problem-Solving: Strong analytical skills with a focus on troubleshooting and resolving issues.
  • Team Player: Ability to work in a collaborative environment and adapt to shifting priorities.
  • High-Performance Mindset: Ability to consistently deliver high-quality work with strong follow-through, urgency, and ownership.
  • Proactive Communications: Ability to communicate progress, escalate risks early, and take initiative to improve outcomes when timelines, quality, or expected results may be at risk.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent work experience is a plus.
  • Automation: Basic knowledge of automation testing tools (e.g., Selenium, Playwright).
  • Technical Knowledge: Familiarity with web technologies, APIs, and database testing (including proficiency with SQL).
  • AI Familiarity: Familiarity with AI agents, prompt-based workflows, or other AI-assisted productivity tools.
  • Healthcare Software Experience: Experience working with healthcare, rehab therapy, or other regulated software environments.
