Employment Training Specialist

Requirements

• A high school diploma or GED is required.
• Experience working with individuals with Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities (IDD) is required.
• The candidate must obtain ACRES certification within six months of hire.
• A valid driver's license is required.

Responsibilities

• Support competitive employment as a primary outcome for Consumers.
• Assess the skills and desires of Consumers and secure compatible employment within the community.
• Provide on-site training and continue with follow-up supports and services for both the Consumer and the employer.
