As an Employment Support Specialist (Job Coach), you will play a critical role in helping individuals secure, learn, and maintain meaningful employment throughout the St. Louis metro area. What You’ll Do Provide one-on-one job coaching support at community worksites across the St. Louis Metro areaSupport individuals in learning job tasks and building independenceDevelop natural supports within the workplacePartner with employers, families, and vocational rehabilitation (VR) counselors to ensure successManage a caseload of up to 25 individualsComplete timely documentation using electronic health record systemsMaintain consistent and professional communication with all stakeholders What Makes You a Great Fit High School Diploma or GED required (Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree preferred)2+ years of experience supporting individuals with intellectual/developmental disabilities preferredCreative problem-solving skills and ability to think outside the boxStrong communication and relationship-building skillsOrganized with the ability to manage multiple clients effectivelyFlexible schedule – availability aligned with client work hours Requirements Valid driver’s licenseReliable transportation and current auto insuranceAbility to pass Family Care Safety Registry screeningAbility to pass a motor vehicle driving record checkEmployment contingent upon background checks and reference verification Physical Requirements Ability to stand, sit, bend, and walk for up to 8 hoursAbility to push, pull, and lift up to 100 pounds using proper lifting and transfer techniques Why Join UCP Heartland?
