Provides Individual Placement and Support (IPS) employment services to individuals receiving Assertive Community Treatment (ACT) services at MaineHealth Behavioral Health in Biddeford. The Employment Specialist works as a key member of the ACT Team, integrating individuals’ vocational and educational goals into their treatment plan and providing intensive community-based support toward those goals. They also serve as a liaison to employers, developing business and community relationships in their local area.
Requirements
- Master's Degree in education, counseling, or social services or Bachelor's degree plus five years' experience in vocational counseling / rehabilitation.
- Current Certified Rehabilitation Counselor and/or DMH Employment Specialist Certification or obtain certification within six months from hire date.
- Five years' experience in related field.

Pay
The pay range for this position is $66,123.20 to $89,481.60 per year. Compensation for part-time positions is determined on a prorated basis consistent with the scheduled hours and applicable full-time equivalent (FTE).
