Employment Specialist IV - Vocational Services
About the Role
The Vocational Services Employment Specialist IV provides Individual Placement and Support (IPS) supported employment services to individuals receiving public behavioral health services. Based at Spruwink in Portland, they work as part of the agency’s behavioral health team and as part of a statewide initiative to advance employment for individuals with mental illness. They also serve as a liaison to employers, developing business and community relationships in their local area.
Requirements
- Master's Degree in education, counseling, or social services or Bachelor's degree plus five years' experience in vocational counseling / rehabilitation.
- Current Certified Rehabilitation Counselor and/or DMH Employment Specialist Certification or obtain certification within six months from hire date.
- Five years' experience in a related field.

Pay
The pay range for this position is $66,123.20 to $89,481.60 per year. Compensation for part-time positions is determined on a prorated basis consistent with the scheduled hours and applicable full-time equivalent (FTE).
