Your Core Responsibilities
- Provide direct job skills training and supervision in community and facility-based work settings.
- Support individuals in developing positive work habits, social skills, and independence.
- Build and maintain relationships with employers to create and sustain meaningful job opportunities.
- Aid in vocational assessments, job site setup, and development of training materials.
- Monitor and document individual progress, behaviors, and program outcomes.
- Serve as a positive role model, encouraging professional and personal growth.
- Participate in team meetings, planning sessions, and reviews to support person-centered employment goals.
What You Bring
- Education & Experience: Bachelor’s degree preferred; OR Associate’s degree + 1 year relevant experience; OR High school diploma + 2 years related vocational or human services experience.
- Skills: Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
Requirements
- Valid NYS driver’s license and ability to meet agency driving requirements.
- Physical Ability: Ability to lift up to 40 lbs and actively support individuals in various work environments.
