Community Bridges, Inc. (CBI) is an integrated behavioral healthcare agency offering a variety of programs throughout Arizona. CBI provides residential, outpatient, inpatient, patient-centered medical homes, medication-assisted treatment, and crisis services to individuals experiencing crisis, opioid use disorder, homelessness, mental illness, and substance use disorder.

About the role

An Employment Specialist provides work-related services, including vocational evaluation and assessment, job readiness training, skills building, and job placement referrals. This position assists in addressing all employment concerns and needs of the patient in conjunction with the established treatment team.

Responsibilities

  • Provide vocational evaluation and assessment
  • Deliver job readiness training and skills building
  • Facilitate job placement referrals
  • Address employment concerns and needs of patients in collaboration with the treatment team

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED (required)
  • Associate’s degree in behavioral health or medical field (preferred)
  • Minimum of one (1) year of experience working in either the behavioral health or medical field (required)
  • Minimum of six months of recovery from substance use and/or mental health disorders (preferred)
  • Current AZ Driver’s License (valid and in good standing)
  • Clear 39-month Motor Vehicle Record
  • Behavioral Health Technician (BHT) certification in accordance with A.A.C. R9-10-101.33 and CBI Clinical Policies and Procedures
  • Peer Certification (if applicable)
  • Fingerprint Clearance Card
