About the role

The Employment Program Manager (EPM) is a member of the co‑management and leadership team across Goodwill Industries of Eastern North Carolina’s 43 Employment Program Centers. The EPM is responsible for generating the revenue needed to support the organization’s mission, meeting budgeted sales and production goals, and fostering a culture of safety, service excellence, and alignment with Goodwill’s values and ethics.

Responsibilities

• Meet budgeted sales and production targets for the assigned Employment Program Center.
• Supervise up to 12 staff members, providing coaching, performance feedback, and development opportunities.
• Promote a robust safety culture and ensure compliance with safety policies.
• Deliver excellent service to donors and community partners.
• Collaborate with other EPMs and organizational leaders to advance mission‑driven goals.
• Work occasional weekends as required by operational needs.

Qualifications

• Minimum of one year supervisory experience (experience in a retail and/or production environment is a plus).
• Valid North Carolina Driver’s License (NCDL) required.

Pay

Salary: $52,000 per year (exempt position).

Schedule

Typical schedule includes weekday hours with occasional weekend work as needed.
