Principal Essential Duties & Responsibilities
- Cover new hire orientation, ensuring all aspects of the onboarding process and required training are completed.
- Onsite contact for benefits related questions/enrollment, including benefit fairs, open enrollment, and related verifications.
- Supports the Employment Process Administrator.
- Collaborates with Associate Recruiter to ensure all new hire paperwork requirements are consistently met.
- Fulfills established retention policies and performs audits to ensure data integrity, reporting audit results to management.
- Ensures all personnel activity of the associate is entered into the HR database.
- Utilizes all HR reporting tools, such as manpower and headcount reports, to perform audits and generate reports.
- Makes recommendations to improve processes and efficiencies.
- Answers all calls and transfers calls as needed.
- Assigns employee lockers.
- Generates employee badges.
- Keeps all associate forms stocked.
Minimum Education And Experience
- Associate’s Degree in Business Administration, Human Resources, or related field.
- In the absence of a degree, work experience may be considered.
- 0 - 2 years’ experience.
- Knowledge and experience of HRIS.
- Proven success in handling administrative responsibilities.
- Demonstrated ability for accuracy, meeting deadlines, experience in multi-tasking, and ability to work with minimum supervision.
Preferred Education And Experience
- Prior experience using HR/Payroll database systems.
- Associate’s Degree preferred.
- Fluency in Spanish and Creole.
Physical Requirements And Environmental Factors
- Position is mostly sedentary but may require occasional moving to other offices or buildings.
- May need to move light equipment or supplies from one place to another.
- May need to access files, supplies, and equipment.
- Work activity is in an office, open-partitioned, cubicle environment.
