Principal Essential Duties & Responsibilities

  • Cover new hire orientation, ensuring all aspects of the onboarding process and required training are completed.
  • Onsite contact for benefits related questions/enrollment, including benefit fairs, open enrollment, and related verifications.
  • Supports the Employment Process Administrator.
  • Collaborates with Associate Recruiter to ensure all new hire paperwork requirements are consistently met.
  • Fulfills established retention policies and performs audits to ensure data integrity, reporting audit results to management.
  • Ensures all personnel activity of the associate is entered into the HR database.
  • Utilizes all HR reporting tools, such as manpower and headcount reports, to perform audits and generate reports.
  • Makes recommendations to improve processes and efficiencies.
  • Answers all calls and transfers calls as needed.
  • Assigns employee lockers.
  • Generates employee badges.
  • Keeps all associate forms stocked.

Minimum Education And Experience

  • Associate’s Degree in Business Administration, Human Resources, or related field.
  • In the absence of a degree, work experience may be considered.
  • 0 - 2 years’ experience.
  • Knowledge and experience of HRIS.
  • Proven success in handling administrative responsibilities.
  • Demonstrated ability for accuracy, meeting deadlines, experience in multi-tasking, and ability to work with minimum supervision.

Preferred Education And Experience

  • Prior experience using HR/Payroll database systems.
  • Associate’s Degree preferred.
  • Fluency in Spanish and Creole.

Physical Requirements And Environmental Factors

  • Position is mostly sedentary but may require occasional moving to other offices or buildings.
  • May need to move light equipment or supplies from one place to another.
  • May need to access files, supplies, and equipment.
  • Work activity is in an office, open-partitioned, cubicle environment.
