About the role

A prestigious law firm is seeking an experienced Employment Litigation Partner to join their dynamic team. The ideal candidate will handle complex employment litigation matters and contribute to the firm's growth.

Responsibilities

  • Preparation and filing of court documents, including pleadings, motions, and briefs.
  • Representation of clients in court and before administrative agencies.
  • Conducting legal research and drafting legal memoranda.
  • Negotiation of settlements and agreements on behalf of clients.
  • Advising clients on employment law issues and providing preventive counseling.
  • Participation in business development activities to attract new clients and expand the firm's employment litigation practice.

Qualifications

  • Juris Doctorate degree from an accredited law school.
  • Admission to the Maryland State Bar and in good standing.
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in employment litigation, with a proven track record of success.
  • Exceptional legal research and writing skills.
  • Excellent negotiation and advocacy skills.
  • Strong client management skills, with an ability to develop and maintain client relationships.
  • Proven ability to develop new business and expand the firm's client base.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • High ethical standards and professional integrity.

Pay

Compensation details are equity-based and dependent on experience.
