Employment Counseling and Litigation Partners - Michigan
About the role
The firm is seeking experienced attorneys to join as Partners in its Litigation group. Partners at the firm practice at a high level, serve sophisticated clients, and collaborate with peers across the country, while maintaining control over how and where they work.
Responsibilities
- Advise employers on compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws, policies, investigations, and risk management strategies
- Represent clients in employment litigation, including discrimination, harassment, wage and hour, noncompete, and wrongful termination matters
- Draft and negotiate employment-related agreements and oversee complex case management from pre-litigation through resolution
- Prioritize experience at an AmLaw 200, Law360 400, respected regional or sophisticated boutique firm (7 years out or more)
- Avoid Employment Practices Liability (EPL) and insurance defense experience strongly preferred

Pay
Good-fair estimated annual compensation range: $150,000 to $2,500,000+, depending on individual performance and practice economics.

Location Flexibility While the firm operates on a national platform, attorneys must be able to appear in court or before agencies in their licensed jurisdictions when required.
