Overview
Gordon Rees Scully Mansukhani, a national law firm, has excellent opportunities in its New York office for experienced litigation attorneys to work in the employment law practice group. A minimum of 3 years of employment litigation experience is required.
Responsibilities
- Work collaboratively with a team of attorneys to provide legal advice and representation in employment litigation matters.
- Conduct thorough legal research and prepare legal memoranda and briefs.
- Present oral arguments before courts and administrative agencies.
- Manage multiple cases simultaneously, prioritizing tasks and meeting deadlines.
- Develop and maintain strong client relationships through effective communication and problem-solving.
- Stay updated on relevant laws and regulations affecting employment law.
Requirements
- Licensed in New York, with admission in New Jersey preferred.
- Minimum of 3 years of employment litigation experience.
- Excellent litigation, writing, and persuasive speaking skills.
- Strong academic background and proven research skills.
- Self-starter capable of handling assignments with minimal supervision.
- Trial experience preferred but not required.

Pay
The firm's current national base salary ranges are: Associates (approximately 1-6+ years): $100,000–$165,000; Senior Counsel/Of Counsel (approximately 5 years or more): $140,000–$215,000; Partners (approximately 7 years or more): $190,000–$275,000+. Actual compensation is tailored to each individual and may vary based on factors such as experience, skills, practice area, business generation, work arrangement, and geographic market.
