Employment Attorneys

About the role

This role is ideal for attorneys who are energized by employment litigation and are passionate about achieving results for clients. This position offers the opportunity to handle meaningful work and contribute to a dynamic, collaborative practice group.

Responsibilities

• Provide advice and counsel on workplace law issues, including Wage & Hour Class and PAGA actions, employee relations, mitigation of risk, ADA and other workplace accommodation, employment agreements, reductions-in-force, and employment-related policies.
• Handle all aspects of litigation, including interviewing witnesses, reviewing electronically stored documents, drafting pleadings and various motions and briefs, conducting and defending depositions, interacting with clients and opposing counsel, and attending court appearances.

Requirements

• At least 3 years of experience in employment litigation.
• Licensed and admitted to practice in California.

Qualifications

• Excellent litigation, writing, and persuasive speaking skills.
• Strong academic background.
• Prominent skills in research.
• Self-starter with ability to handle assignments with minimal supervision.

Skills

• Motions and discovery experience preferred but not required.

Pay

The pay range for this role is: $150,000- $275,000+ depending on the specific level of experience. Actual compensation is tailored to each individual and may vary based on factors such as experience, skills, practice area, business generation, work arrangement, and geographic market.
